Stéphanie Robillard graduated from the University of Ottawa with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences with concentrations in political science, management and public policy, along with a law degree. After starting her career as a lawyer in civil litigation, with a specialization in insurance of persons law, she completed a master’s degree in health law at the University of Sherbrooke. She also completed a Psychology of Leadership Certificate from Cornell University in June 2024.
In addition to being a member of the Québec Bar, Stéphanie is also an accredited mediator in civil, commercial and labour law, and a certified Small Claims mediator for the Québec Court. She is also a member of the “Institut de médiation et d’arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ)” and of the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC).
She was acting as OLHI’s Conciliator since 2019 and as the Senior Deputy Ombudsman since 2020.
