Stéphanie Robillard graduated from the University of Ottawa with a bachelor’s degree in social sciences with concentrations in political science, management and public policy, along with a law degree. After starting her career as a lawyer in civil litigation, with a specialization in insurance of persons law, she completed a master’s degree in health law at the University of Sherbrooke.
In addition to being a member of the Québec Bar, Stéphanie is also an accredited mediator in civil, commercial and labour law, and a certified Small Claims mediator for the Québec Court. She is also a member of the “Institut de médiation et d’arbitrage du Québec (IMAQ)” and of the ADR Institute of Canada (ADRIC).
She was acting as OLHI’s Senior Deputy Ombudsman and as a Conciliator since 2019.
